Academician E. A. Buketov and T. Memorial Museum.
The university has its own historical museum. It has been operating since 2002. Here you will learn about the history of the formation and development of one of the first state universities in Kazakhstan. Visitors to the museum are offered a free guided tour in Kazakh, Russian or English.
The exhibition area of the museum is 505 square meters and includes 4 zones:
B - "university formation". Here you can find a gallery of rectors, documents related to the opening of the university, and its official attributes. The exhibition gives an idea of the formation of the university from the date of its creation in 1938 as a teachers institute, theіtransition to the pedagogical institute in 1952, and then to the state university in 1972.
